Theodora Vriniotis, 75, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022, in Port Charlotte, FL.
Theodora was born in Georgianni, Greece, to the late Vasileios and Sevasty Pelikpasedes, on Tuesday, April 1, 1947, the same day that Paul of Greece took the throne upon the death of his father, George II. Theodora would meet and marry the love of her life, George K. Vriniotis, and together raise a son. A few years after the birth of their son, Theodora and George moved to the United States, and would eventually settle in Bayside, New York. There they resided until moving to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1992. She loved being a wife, mother and great grandmother, spending time doing things for her family. A religious woman, Theodora was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Port Charlotte, FL.
In addition to her parents Vasileios and Sevasty, Theodora was preceded in by a brother, Nikos Pelikpasedes. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, George K. Vriniotis; son, Konstantinos “Gus” and daughter-in-law Theresa Vriniotis, and numerous grand and great grandchildren and extended family members.
Visitation for Theodora will be held at Roberson Funeral Homes Port Charlotte Chapel on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, with Wake service at 6 pm, May 16, 2022. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday 10 am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Port Charlotte, with committal and burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens cemetery also in Port Charlotte, May 17, 2022.
