I grew up with his son Tommy until they moved to Florida in 1979. He had this old beat up truck in his driveway back in the 70's and I remember sanding that thing for many hours with Tommy fixing it up. He had an above ground pool in his backyard that Kenny, Tommy, Willy and I used to go swimming in next to the glider he was building. If anyone in the family reads this and knows how to get ahold of Tommy, please give him my email or phone number. geeigotsomemail@gmail.com Lyle Stevens (562)597-0726 I'd really like to hear from him after all these years, we were best friends and did EVERYTHING together when we were kids then they moved and I moved and we lost touch.

I am the eldest of his step-daughters, but considered myself his Daughter and he my Dad!He became my Dad when he married my Mother. Though I had a Father at the time, whom has also passed on, he had taken the time to teach me about so many things I wouldn't have learned anywhere else, from auto mechanics to fishing. He is greatly missed and will always be remembered as a special man, and my Dad. He married into a family of 6 children and became a member of our family, something not too many men would have done. I have 4 sisters, 1 brother and 2 half-brothers and am very proud of all of them, and happy they are my family! I Miss You and Love You Dad but know now you are beyond pain and with your family that has long past left us as well. You will always be remembered as a special Man, and Dad by Me!

I want to share with you the best memory of my Dad. When I was six we traveled from Calilfornia to Ohio to visit my grandparents. My grandfather's house was near the lake and I would go down to the dock and play with a small toy sailboat my dad had made for me. One day the wind caught it and before I could reach it blew it out into the lake. It wasn't long before it was a mere speck floating far off. I sat down and started to cry.....remember I'm only six and this is my favorite thing in the whole world. That's when my dad showed up. [ I think he was watching me the whole time ] What's wrong son? When I told him he did what every kid hopes his dad would do...he became in the eyes of a six year old, a hero. He immediatly tossed off his shirt and shoes, emptied his pockets, and dove in. I will never forget how proud I was to have been his son, and how much richer my life has been because of him. I miss you Dad
