To a wonderful man, that was a mentor to me in my early life. Tom took me under his wing and coached me as I entered into local politics. We first met when I worked for then Mayor of Tampa Bob Martinez, who was running for Governor. Tom and Diane were the Charlotte County Co Chairs for his campaign. After my time in Tallahassee Tom encouraged me to run for what was then The CC Development Authority, know now as The CC Airport Authority, Then after my term there, Tom suggested that I run for CC school board. Tom always gave me great advice as he stirred me to to all of my successful campaigns including two terms as CC GOP Vice Chair. I owe a lot to the dynamic duo of Tom and Diane, I will always cherish your kind spirit and friendship, God Speed Colonel

Tom was the most wonderful person I have ever met and had the honor of his friendship. Lots of fun memories + stories + watching “JAG” on television every week with him + Diane. Having dinners together + talking politics + airplanes and more… My heart + sorrow goes out to all of the family as I know the loss is deep but his memories will be in your heart forever + may he Rest In Peace with Diane. Fondly + Sincerely, ~Kathleen.
