Mr. Thomas O. Muhn, 80, of the Deep Creek subdivision of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Deep Creek Rehab & Nursing Center.

Thomas was born on March 21, 1928 in Flint, Michigan. A Korean War veteran, U.S. Army, and former Body Engineer with General Motors Corporation for 38 years, Thomas lived in Troy, Michigan until relocating to Punta Gorda in 1990. He was a member of Sonshine Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, Florida.

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of more than 58 years, Dorothy G. Muhn; two sons, Jeffrey A. (wife Gerry) Muhn of Livonia, MI, and Stephen T. (wife Laurie) Muhn of Glencoe, IL; one brother, Carl Muhn of Rochester, MI; two grand and three step-grandchildren; two nephews and three nieces.
