Toni Lynn Baldwin, age 58, of North Port, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021 following a long battle with her health at Bayfront Health in Port Charlotte, Florida. Toni was born and raised in Oakdale, Connecticut to Leonard Edward Bingham and Grace (nee-Forsyth) Grisky, formerly Bingham. She graduated from Montville High School in 1983 and lived in Connecticut most of her life until she moved to Washington State then Georgia and ultimately Florida in 2011. She married Dean Baldwin on July 27, 2001.
She loved the outdoors whether it be camping, the beach, or just planting flowers in a garden. Her laughter and smile could light up a room.
Toni is survived by her two children, Jennifer Sanders of North Port, FL and Shaun Parker of Norwich, CT, and 5 grandchildren: Timothy Sanders, Zachary Sanders, Alyssa Smith, Marcella Parker, and David Parker, who were everything to her. She really enjoyed being a grandmother. She is also survived by her mother, Grace Grisky, of North Port, FL, a sister, Donna Damien, of Worcester MA, and two nephews who live in New England. She is predeceased by her father, Leonard, her husband of nearly 19 years, Dean, and a nephew.
A committal service will be held for Toni at 11am. on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida. In compliance with suggested guidelines to help prevent the further spread of Covid-19 and protect our most vulnerable and at-risk individuals, the National Cemetery asks anyone in attendance to please be respectful of others and observe social distancing and wear a personal protective mask.
