She was born March 17, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Joseph and Helen Hieronymus. A longtime business owner and resident of Birmingham, Michigan, Virginia and her husband Bob moved from Birmingham to Punta Gorda in 1980. She was a member of the Punta Gorda Isles Yacht Club, and B.P.O. Elks Lodge 2606 in Punta Gorda.
She is survived by her son William (wife Carol) Tucker of Chicago, IL; grandson, Jeffrey Tucker(wife Jennifer Taylor); granddaughter, Katherine Tucker; and a sister, Muriel Harrington, and brother, George (wife Linda) Hieronymus, both of MI. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob R. Copeland.
