Born Virginia R. Walters on January 17, 1927 in Portland, Oregon, Virginia, a retired Accounts Clerk, lived in Pismo Beach, California until relocating to Port Charlotte, Florida in 2000. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Port Charlotte.
Virginia is survived by her beloved children, daughter Peggy (husband Tom) Poor of Kennesaw, GA, and sons, Henry (wife Diane) Hunter of Redlands, CA, Jerry (wife Connie) Sommerville of Port Charlotte, FL, and Roger (wife Amy) Sommerville of Mission Hills, CA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George Vinton Sommerville, Jr. on April 29, 2003.
