Wade Perry Sours II, died on March 14, 2024 in his home in Port Charlotte Florida.
Wade was born in Elmira, New York on September 20, 1956 to Wade Perry Sours and Joyce Marie Rothgeb and was the oldest of 6 siblings.
Wade graduated from Charlotte High School in 1975, where he was an offensive lineman for the Tarpon Football team and therefor after became apart of their alumni. Wade was also on the Republican National Committee and a member of the Realtors Association. Wade’s favorite past times were to travel and going on cruises and taking his children on vacations and was also a certified scuba diver! Wade had some of the best seats to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers games, and boy did he love a good meal! Family time was always important to Wade and what he enjoyed the most!
Wade was survived by his 2 children. His son, Wade IV and daughter Caitlynn. He also had 9 grandchildren who he would always brag and talk about to everyone! He loved being a “Papa”, and “Super Papa” to Cameren James Chisholm (age 13) Thomas Joseph Carroll (age 13) Evan Michael Chisholm (age 11) Aiden Lee Carroll (age 10) Gracie Mae Chisholm (age 9) Mason Perry Chisholm (age 7) Harmony Marie Sours (age 6) Lainey Rae Chisholm (age 4) Melody Jae Chisholm (age 1.5) Wade also left behind brothers David Sours and John Sours. Sisters, Susan Quick, Ramona Peters and Myra Susko.
Wade will be deeply missed but we will rejoice knowing he has gone to be with our Heavenly Father and we will see him again! There is no more pain and hurt and he is once again able to be the man we all know him to be!
Visitation was held on Saturday March 23, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by a Memorial service beginning at 11:00 AM at Roberson Funeral Home in Port Charlotte.
