Wallace was born May 10, 1922 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to the late Bernhardt Wallace and Mary Elizabeth (nee – Underwood) Bischof. A United States Army Veteran, World War II, and resident of Port Charlotte since 1981, Wallace, a retired Photographic Lab Development Specialist and Chemist, was a member of the N.R.A., and a founding member of the Easy Does It Club.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie J. Bischof; daughters Ann Vaile, Jane Murphy, Lynn Mohan, Gail Grigsby, Susan Bischof, Marian Bischof, and Julie Lindemann; 11 grand, and 8 great grandchildren.
Interment with military honors will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 19, 2010 at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
