He was born February 5, 1917 in Germany and moved to Port Charlotte in 1983
from Saukville, Wisconsin. Walter and his wife Eleanor owned and operated Minx
Hardware in Saukville for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Eleanor Minx of Port Charlotte;
Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, July 6, 2009 at
Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM.
Rev. J. Ralph Burton, Jr. will officiate. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL.
