WALTER J. (BUTCH) POPLAWSKI, 62, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at his residence.

He was born October 20, 1943 in Quincy, Massachusetts and moved to
Punta Gorda 2 years ago from Nottingham, NH. Butch was a retired commercial
painter and a Catholic. He was a member of Moose Lodge No. 2121, Deep Creek Elks Lodge No. 2763 and Eagles Aerie #3296 all of Charlotte County.

He is survived by his loving family, Dorothy L. Poplawski of Punta Gorda;
A daughter, Penny Poplawski of Rochester, NH; two sons, Jeffery Michael Poplawski
Of Rochester, NH and Gary Mitchell Poplawski of Somersworth, NH; a sister, Ann Marie Sartel of Coventry, RI; two brothers, Edward Poplawski of Port Charlotte, FL and
Michael Poplawski of Massachusetts; and 8 Grandchildren.
