Wilfred Alexander Pindling, 79, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
Wilfred was born September 29, 1929 in Jamaica, West Indies and moved to Port Charlotte in 1994 from Queens, NY. He was a tailor for many years in New York and also worked as a psychiatric aide at Long Island Jewish Hospital. He was a devoted member of North Port Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife, Veness Pindling of Port Charlotte; seven children, 18 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Monday, January 26, 2009 at the North Port Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Port Charlotte. An inurnment will be held at a later date by the family.
