Bill was such a good neighbor. We are snow birds so when we came for the winter we would enjoy Bill’s friendship. We enjoyed going out to eat with him and Karen on occasions. Our memories are very pleasant and we feel a loss.

Bill was my first cousin. We were 2 weeks apart in age and we grew up next door to each other. Our parents told us that when we were babies we picked the sides of our playpen and took off down the sidewalk! When we were older we were with a group of kids building a fort on a wooded lot nearby. Bill was perched on a tree and dropped an axe on my head. Luckily it was the blunt end! Bill was godfather to our daughter Jacqueline. He was always good to her and traveled across the country to her wedding. And he traveled across the country to visit her and her new baby Charlotte. He was a caring and loyal and true friend. I am so thankful that Karen was with him and was such a great friend to Bill.

My memories of Bill go back to the 90's when he and Karen started dating. I remember how much he loved his cats and he took very good care of them. He loved the water and enjoyed a game of golf as frequently as he could. Bill had a good sense of humor and like to meet new people when he and Karen were on their trips. Bill was 9 years older than me, so even though we grew up next door to each other, we didn’t do much together. My best memory of Bill was when I was in my early 20’s. We both had motorcycles and got together to go riding when the weather was good. Those were some good times. RIP Bill.
