William was born June 19, 1941 in Columbus, IN and moved to Port Charlotte 5 years ago from Myakka City, FL. Bill was a heavy equipment mechanic for the Apac Company in Sarasota, FL for many years. He loved to travel but also could not go without his sports especially racecars. He owns a SSA Roaster which he enjoyed so much. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Bill is survived by his loving mother, Mary Campfield of Bradenton, FL; a sister, Barbara Walton of Bradenton, FL; 2 brothers, Terry Campfield of Bradenton, FL and Michael Campfield of Pace, FL; his companion, Gertrude (Gerty) Suggs of Port Charlotte, FL.
