William James Horn, Jr., 87, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday,
November 9, 2008 at Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans Nursing Home in Port Charlotte.
He was born May 13, 1921 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and moved to
Port Charlotte 25 years ago from Cleveland, Ohio.
He was a Methodist and a member of Valley of Cleveland Masonic Temple Harding-Concordia Lodge #345, F. & A. M. in Brooklyn, OH and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Cleveland and Al Koran Shriners of Broadview HTS, OH. William retired as director of financial control from Thompson, Romo, Wooldridge Inc. (TRW) in Cleveland.
Survived by his loving wife, Emily Horn of Port Charlotte; two sons, William James(Barbara) Horn III and Randolph M.(Doreen). Horn both of Port Charlotte; two grandsons, William James Horn IV and Paul Matthew and one great granddaughter, Ella Sophia
Graveside services and military honors will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte. Rev. Bob Carlson
will officiate.
