He was born January 22, 1922 in Bay City, Michigan and moved to Port Charlotte
in 1980 from Roseville, MI. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Army.
He was owner and operator of bar in Hamtramck, MI. He was of Catholic faith.
Survived by his four sons, Robert Metalski and Craig Metalski both of Sterling Heights, MI, Ronald Metalski of Lapeer, MI and David M. Covington, GA;
8 grandchildren and 5 great Grandchildren; Preceded in death by his
wife, Irene C. Metalski who passed away in 2006.
