William Peter Turner, 75, of Punta Gorda, Florida died Monday, November 12, 2007
at his residence. He was born August 10, 1932 in New York, New York and moved
to Charlotte County ten years ago from Big Flats, NY. He was a Veteran of the Korean
War serving in the US Air force. He was a retired Chief Linesman for New York State
Electric and Gas. He was a member of Port Charlotte Elks Lodge and was a catholic.
Survived by his loving wife of 54 yrs, Patricia Turner of Punta Gorda; three daughters, Debra Turner of Elmira, NY, Sandra (Husband Keith) Campbell of Port Charlotte, Colleen (Darien-husband) Mattison of Red lion, PA; three sons, Kenneth
(Wife-Stormi) Turner of Chico, CA, Sean Turner of Punta Gorda, James Turner of
Plattsburg, NY; two brothers, Jesse (Wife- Blue) Turner of Alabama, Steve Turner
of Newark, Ohio; a sister in law, Lenora (husband Bruce) Weisengerber of New Jersey
28 grandchildren and 9 great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by a son, William D. Turner and a sister Eileen Brousseau.
